The Couple
Amanda & Dennis have such a fun story of both being in the right place at the right time. Amanda is from the United States, Dennis is from Brazil. They both met in Italy - Sounds like a classic romance right?
These two are so much fun together, Dennis bursting into song at random moments, Amanda going into tour guide mode and telling you all about the history of Rome. They are loved and supported by so many people from all over the world that they have each met during their travels and living in different locations.

The Locations
Rome, Italy
On our first day with the couple, we went with them on an adventure session to a few of Amanda & Dennis' favorite spots around Rome. From the Pantheon to Rome Baptist Church, (where they first met!) We felt like we were getting an insiders tour into all the best spots in Rome.
The Colosseum
On day two, we met up with the couple and many of their friends and family that traveled to go on a walking tour guided by the wedding couple! Amanda was once a tour guide for the city and was able to give us all a full tour of many historical areas as Dennis translated everything into Portuguese for many friends and family.
Fara In Sabina
The actual wedding took place at a vila in the Fara in Sabina region about an hour and half out of Rome. A beautiful Italian villa with the perfect ceremony spot on top of the hill!

Super 8 Film
Love nostalgia? Super 8 film is the way to go! It just gives you something that feels more raw, more in the moment and less posed or put together. This is the first wedding we've ever brought our super 8 camera to, and let me tell you - I love it so much I wish I could film with super 8 at every wedding we capture.
My other favorite part of filming with super 8 is you actually have a physical piece of your wedding film you can hold in your hands. After all the editing is finished I love getting to send the reel of film off to our couples as a small memento of the wedding.
While pieces of the super 8 is woven into the main highlight film, I also enjoy getting to put together a separate super 8 only film! - Here is the super 8 film from Amanda & Dennis' wedding.
The Response
We knew from Rebecca and Kyle’s previous work that they were going to do an exceptional job filming our destination wedding in Italy, but they managed to thoroughly exceed our high expectations with the professionalism, care, and FUN that they brought to the task.
We felt so comfortable being ourselves around them, and it shows in our films. My husband and I keep watching our wedding films back and are just amazed at how well they captured so many facets of us and our relationship in just the brief time we had together.
There were loads of logistics that we had to handle bringing families from two different countries into a third for our wedding, but Rebecca and Kyle were the definition of graciousness as we handled travel plans, housing struggles, and language barriers on top of the normal stress of wedding week. Not only were they flexible and kind, they really did the most to help us and ensure that we were resting, eating, and celebrating well! By the end of the week, they felt like a part of the family.
We are endlessly grateful to them and would heartily recommend them for your wedding, wherever it may be!
