The Couple
Danielle & Austin are from the east side of South Dakota, but Danielle grew up coming to the Black Hills every summer for camping with her family.
Danielle really wanted an epic but intimate location with just the two of them and their son.
We spent the whole day with them. from getting ready at a cabin in the hills, a picnic hike, and an epic overlook for their vows. We ended the day with a beautiful sunset at Sylvan Lake
Planning the Day
Just because you are eloping with just the two of you, that doesn't mean you can't plan a full day for your wedding. Why not take the whole day and make it special? Do things that are fun and meaningful to the both of you.

Getting Ready Together
At a typical wedding, the bride gets ready with her girls and the groom gets ready with his guys. Why not get ready together and help each other out! Makes for some super cute video shots!
What will you eat?
Why not have a picnic hike to a beautiful location? Pack your favorite snacks, sandwiches, or even make your own little charcuterie board!
Not your style? Let's go out to your favorite restaurant (we've even gone to Texas Road house with a couple for their wedding day lunch!)
Speak your vows
Might as well do your vows at someplace epic! Pick somewhere that's meaningful or special to the two of you to share your most important words to one another. Traveling for your wedding? We love to scout out beautiful locations where you will not be interrupted and can fully enjoy this part of your day!

Chances are you chose to travel somewhere for your elopement, Why not spend some extra time exploring the area together!
Do your first dance together to your favorite song! We always pack our bluetooth speaker for moments like this!
Adventure Session
Even with elopement's when it's just the two of you, or a few of your favorite people, we want to capture you in your "natural element" not on the wedding day. What do you love doing together? What is uniquely "Insert your names here"? What sort of adventure could you have together before you tie the knot? Here's a list of some fun ideas to spark your interest:
-Hammock and write your vows out
-Bake cookies together (or whatever you like to bake)
-Go kayaking or boating
-Walk the local downtown area and get ice cream at the local chop
-Go to a park and swing on the swings
-Do a puzzle together
-Dance in the living room
-Sit at a campfire and share your favorite stories while roasting marshmallows
-Attend a music festival
-Have a picnic
-Go on a hot air balloon ride
