Meet Rebecca & Kyle
Hello there! We’re Rebecca and Kyle, and as you can see from this wonderful awkward family photo, I love my two kitties, Katniss & Patton!
We are both locals to the Black Hills area and have lived here most of our lives. Kyle and I love to play strategy board games, go outside on long walks, and be creative in our many hobbies (like running a T-shirt screen-printing shop). We also love to travel and take pictures, including a goal to eventually visit all 63 national parks in the US.
We decided to elope in the summer of 2021 and wanted to go someplace epic! Unfortunately our first choice (Price Edward Island in Nova Scotia Canada) was unavailable at the time due to COVID, so we instead went to the Oregon Coast. It was so perfect for us, and once we tasted the experience of making our wedding day true to ourselves, we were hooked and knew had to help other couples do the same!

Rebecca absolutely loves “Anne of Green Gables”, (hence why we wanted to go to Prince Edward Island) and we were able to capture that vibe — one of our favorites!
Why “Zsomething Films”?
Can you say Zvejnieks? I didn’t think so! :) Most people when they look at our last name resort to “Z something” rather then trying to pronounce it. We thought it was a creative name for our wedding films that was very personal to us.

Our goal is to create story driven films that truly reflect the couple. We strive to capture your personalities and the things you love! One of the best ways we do this is with an adventure session on a separate day.
What is an adventure session?
This is one of our favorite things to do with a couple during the week leading up to their wedding. We will spend about an hour with the two of you doing something that is just “you”. Do you love to go hiking together? Cooking meals or baking? Watching movies and cuddling on the couch? Hammocking at a park? The options are endless! We then take this footage and mix it into your wedding day film to help tell your story.
